- This is where some DIMISS new WORLD ORDER
- They dismiss the new world order because the CW kept states, IDEOLOGICAL TENSION under CONTROL

- This is because the CW MAINTAINED an imagr of INTERNAL THREAT, promoting COHEOPN & IDENTITY
- E.g. PROLONGED bloodshed in the 1990s amongst the SERBS, CROATS & MUSLIMS in former Yugoslavia & the WAR by RUSSIA & CHECHNYA in 1994
- Therefore there was NOT a NEW WORLD ORDER, as we saw SERBIA commit GENOCIDE using POLICIES that were SIMILAR to WW2
- This means the CW did NOT do much but CAUSE MORE TENSION
- The END of the CW was the COLLAPSE of the SU as the challenger of the USA
- This RESULTED in UNIPOLARITY- LIBERAL MOVEMENT & new status of the USA
