        • trial by boiling water- if arm didn't heal in 3 days they were guilty if it healed they were innocent
        • trial by cold water-plunged in cold water if they floating god 'rejected' them- guilty . if they sank they were innocent
        • trial by hot iron-Mainly reserved for women. If wound didn't heal they were guilty
