- Genetic inheritance: we may inherit diseases, genetic disorders or learning difficulties.
- These conditions can result in poor health, early death, limited mobility, social isolation and depression.

- We may not get enough food as a child and not grow and develop properly physically and mentally
- If you live in an area with good schools and a good community you may develop good intellectual skills
- Alternatively, if you live in a bad area you may become fearful, this would cause social isolation and lack of exercise because you are too scared to go out.
