- Neurodiversity is everyone, its how people's brains work, some brains function differently to others. A neurodivergent brain processes the world differently than the socially constructed and arguably accepted normative standards. Neurotypical brains = process world within the socially constructed standards. Neurodivergent is an umbrella term, there a lots of different types of neurodivergence e.g. OCD, Autism Dyscalclia etc. A lot are under researched and forgotten.
- I have chosen this specific area of practcice because I feel there are little resources and research on a lot of types of neurodivergence and in SW practice it is so important to keep informed in a lot of different areas, I think this is one that can be especially important to look at and not ignore. *find reference that backs up.
- Provide context of area of practice (including geographical region).

- Look at "Deconstructing disability and neurodiversity: Controversial issues for Autism and Implications for social work" Article
- Bronfrenbrenner's Ecological Systems theory can also be a useful model to apply when looking at area, because...
- Look t "Creating a Resilient Ecosystem for the Employment of Autistic Individuals: From Understanding to Action" Article

- Look at "Strengths-Based Practice to Enhance Mental Health for Autistic People: A Scoping Review." Article
