The Manhunt is sad, depressing and morbid
Hour uses imagery to convey what is seen in everyday life into jewels "no jewel hold a candle to the cuckoo spit"

Overall comparison

These two poems display the similar cliched attributes found in typical/ stereotypical romanctic relationships but they are nearly the complete contrast of each other.
