Quarrying is very useful to the society since it gives unemployed people in the local area jobs, there is also a big demand of limestone so it's a pretty good thing, for humans. Quarrying is also quite bad for the environment, wildlife habitats get destroyed and there's lots of dust and noise pollution from quarrying which makes it almost unbearable for the society and wildlife.
