-Theseus and Hyppolita are getting married.

-Egeus is furious about Hermia and Lysander being together.

-Theseus tells Hermia whether she wants to be a nun or marry Demetrius.

-Lysander has the idea to run away from Athens to the woods to marry Hermia in peace.

-Hermia tells Helena of these plans.

.Helena tells Demetrius of the plas hoping to gain his affection.

-The mechaicals meet a Peter Quince's house.

-Their parts are handed out and they agree that they shall rehearse in the woods.
