- Kidney and liver diseases

- chronic bronchitis 

-respiratory infections

- asthma

• Increased mortalitlty rates especially in children:

- 10% of children dying in their 1st year

-Their deaths are usually caused by kidney and heart failure

- 1 in every 20 babies are born with abnormalties (5 times higher than European countries)
