AS Physics definitions (OCR)

A physical property with magnitude but no direction e.g. speed, pressure, distance, etc.

A physical quantity that has both magnitude and direction e.g. velocity, force, displacement

The distance travelled in a particular direction e.g. 3m due North. A vector quantity.
