Under section 2(3) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a consumer is an "individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside that individual's trade, business, craft or profession".
Why do businesses need to know about consumer law?
Any business dealing with a consumer needs to know the rights/protection for consumers AND how to avoid breaking the law!
