e-wate is waste of electircal items such as throwing away new phones etc. A problem with this will be that harmful chemicals from the elcetrical items such as mercurey & cadium which will sink into the soil and into the water. more than 20 million tones of e-waste is disposed in the UK.

WEEE is waste electrical and electronic equipment. this was set in place by the EU so we either donate old electrical working items or recycle them. the negative effects of using social media more on

people are using their electronics more which measns they are ageing at a fater rate and people are throwing them away more which means that negative chemicals are seeping into the earth and water and are polluting the world . this also means that the ozone layer is being damaged by the demand for electricity and power plants are having to work harder and are producing more oxygen.
