Family

Family is a set of people related by blood, marriage (or some other agreed-upon relationship), or adoption who share the primary responsibility for reproduction and caring for members of society.

Nuclear Family - Consists of mother, father and child or children.

Extended Family - Consists of grandmother, grandfather, mother, father and child or children.

Single Parent Family - Consists of mother or father and child or children.

Reconstituted Family - This is a Step Family - Which is where the mother or father are divorced and then marry again so they have step children.

Household - This is the name of people who live under the same roof.

Liam, I am quite distraught that someone removed my comment as I thought it was quite a serious matter. I relied on you to carry me through the endless sea that is Sociology GCSE. I hope that you shall one day finish these flash cards so that a future generation of people who take Sociology as a GCSE get the proper revision they require and deserve for their exams. I'm glad to let you know that I retook the A Level Sociology exam and passed with a B. However, unfortunately I had to use someone else's flash cards. I am sorry for betraying your trust but believe me when I tell you, it was for the greater good.
