Dance Style - contemporary, contortionism and classical ballet 

Dancers - one male 

Key Actions - leg on the scaffolding in arabesque position, arms hooked around scaffolding with legs bent swinging in a circular motion, fast knee swivels on the floor into held positions, expressive facial expressions and childish movements    

Space - uses scaffolding in the centre then moves to downstage moving from left to right

Dynamics - slow and controlled movements 

Aural Setting - aggregated high pitched opera music (opera and piano) 

Lighting - general whitewash but dark upstage 

Set Design - scaffolding structure centre stage 

Costume - white face paint, bonnet, white long sleeve top, white three quarter length trousers, tights and ballet shoes

Choreographic devices - repetition, a direct correlation with music 

Collaboration with design 

• The dance starts with the dancer dancing on a scaffolding tower which he balances, swings and leans on and intertwining
• facial expressions are exaggerated more through the use of face paint
• When music is aggregated so are the movements
• Pose turns in time with music

Theme - a move in Tai JI

Dance Style - Martha Graham technique (contractions), contemporary, ballet

Dancers - 4 men 1 women 

Action - wide second position, with varying arm positions, fast foot movements, attitude turns and poses

Space - dancers use the whole stage

Dynamics - sharp dynamic movements 

Relationships - lifts and balances, throwing the women from 2 men to 2 men through the air

Aural Setting - distorted sounds, electronic sounds (unfamiliar)

Lighting- overall dark 

Set Design - plain backdrop with glittery reflective floor

Costume - orange and yellow catsuits

Choreographic Devices - repetition 

Collaboration with design 

• The tight catsuits show off the movements more and show the technique of the dancers
• Distorted sounds with distorted movements

Theme - based on Shakespear play

Dancers - full corps de ballet 

Action - as the silk cloth lifts the dancers do dramatic walks over it creating a cool visual effect

Space - uses the whole stage

Set Design - plain with a large white cloth that filled the whole stage 

Collaboration with design 

• Collaboration with lighting, music and choreographer
• Used a huge silk cloth and through that and movement created a wave effect
• Had close collaboration with composer and would meet regularly 
• He was open with his dancers and let them come up with ideas
• Collaborated with the costume designer to ensure it fits with the movements
• The choreographer, musician, lighting and costume designer all worked together to create this piece
