calculating relative atomic mass of isotopes

(% of isotope x mass of isotope) + (% of other isotope x mass of other isotope) ÷ 100  

i.e chlorine 

17 x 35 + 25 x 37 ÷ 100 = 35.3

Rates Of Reactions

Rate of Reaction= Amount of reactant used or product formed÷time taken

so if 24cm of hydrogen gas was produced in 2 minutes the rate of reaction would be 24 ÷2 = 12

Relative Formula Mass

add up the ARs of the elements so co2 would be 12+16+16
