• Chronically sick could be cancer
• not disabled but at a disadvantage
• helps to provide support, different services which they can act on such as ramps and transport.

Discrimination and Disability Act

• Noone can discriminate against their disability so it gives them an equal opportunity

NHS and Community Care Act

• helps vulnerable people and old people
• helps them to live a normal life
• NHS would put things in place so they are accepted

Criminal Record Bureau (CRB)

• Protects employers and employees
• Protects people who are working with children
