Strength- The ability of a material to withstand force without it breaking or cracking.
Plasticity- The ability of a material to permanently change shape as a result of forces applied to it without it breaking or cracking.
Toughness- The ability to withstand sudden shocks or blows to the material.
Brittleness- The opposite to plasticity
Hardness- The ability to resist indentation, denting or being scratched.
Elasticity- A material's ability to flex, bend or be deformed before returning to its original state.
Durability- A material's ability to withstand weathering and deterioration.
