Maths unit B:Rational and Irrational numbers

These are numbers that have some sort of pattern in them so they can be written as fractions like whole numbers, terminating decimals (decimals that stop like 0.5), recurring decimals e.t.c.

Any number that can't be written as a fraction (every number that is not rational) like decimals that have no recurrence, surds and pi
