Of Mice and Men

It comes from an 18th century poem by a Scottish poet called

ROBERT BURNS.

The poem is about a mouse which carefully builds a winter nest which is later destroyed.

In the poem Mice are highly symbolic which is similar to in Of MIce And Men.

The mice represent George and Lennie in that they build up living on the ranch and their lifestyle which is soon then destroyed when Lennie kills Curley's wife resulting in the death of Lennie.

I'm not even joking, that's better than what our teacher told us about the title. You actually put it into context with the novel whereas he just said (his exact words) "It means whatever plans you make will fail" Good job :) x
