Proslogion - translates as 'Discourse on the Existence of God' ALL USEFUL QUOTES: Within this, Anselm defined God as: 

'aliquid quo nihil maius possibit' i.e.'that than which nothing greater can be thought' 

Book of Psalms states: 'The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God" (Psalm 14:1, 53:1)
