Are male and female roles now equal?

• Men and women have equal rights and women are achieving success in all areas

• But inequalities still exist: roles such as nursing are still seen as female

• Girls are achieving higher grades in exams

• But surveys still show that men can still earn 17% more than women for the same job
• Why? Many blame it on women having career breaks to have children. Some blame discrimination or prejudice
