religion- human rights

human rights are important to christians because:

-the right to life is a basic christian belief (belief in the sanctity of life)

-we are all made in gods image and should be shown equality.

-freedom of thought,religion, conscience & association are essential to a christian.

-the right to not be discriminated is important to religion.

may cause issues if:

-they believe they have the right to discriminate against homosexuals.

-some christians are against marrying someone from another faith & discriminate.

-some churches make it hard for homosexuals to adopt by oposing laws that protect them from discrimination.

-if a woman wanted to become a priest, she might use human rights against the catholic church.
