Vivaldi- Basson Concerto in E minor- 1st

Not sure when it was written he wrote 39! Features a basso continuo. Bassline can be played on cello, double bass or basson, Chords can be played on harpsichord, Organ or bass lute.

In ritornello form means little return. 4 orchestral main theme ritornello sections (tuttie Sections) with epsidoses in between.

Ritornello, Episode, Ritornello, Episode, Ritornello Episode, Ritornello.

Episodes are solo passages with virtuosic passages in them writen for basson.

Haydn- Drum roll symphony No.103 in Eb- 4th

Writen in 1795 for his visit to london. Was allowed to experiment with the Estanhazy family orchestra. He uses one main theme that contrasts with some shorter themes- the movement is known as monothematic.

Drum roll symphony is in sonata rondo form:

Beethoven- Volin concerto in D major- 1st

First performed in 1806 written for violinist Franz Clement. Volin technology was advancing with a brighter  and powerrful sound with a developed curved bow.

In sonata and ritornello form.

Exposition- Ritornello and solo 1

Developement- Ritornello and solo 2

Recapulation- Ritornello, solo 3 and a ritornello
