Tourism is defined as people travelling to and staying in other places outside their usual environment for leisure or business trips that last up to a year. 

1- Domestic is taking vacations in your own country

2- Inbound means visitors entering the UK from overseas as tourists. 

3- Outbound is defined as UK citizens going abroad for a trip. 

1- Business

People might need to travel somewhere for business. 

2- Leisure 

Another type of travel is leisure travel. For this, people may choose to go to a beach or have a city break.

3- Specialist

People opt to do a particular kind of holiday. e.g sports or volunteering rather than visit a city or beach.
