Magazine – Dame Judi Dench Good House Keeping October 2011 – the purple background and the blue top which she is wearing contrast allowing her to stand out- the magazine was part of a rejuvenation of her fame. Her head is in the way of the Masthead denoting that the readers will still know the mag by its house style The central image (Dench) is made to look younger by the position which she is in – she has her arms crossed over her chest and looks to be leaning back  a pose which many teenagers do when they are smug. She is making eye connection with the audience highlighting the smug  features. à NOT STEREOTYPICAL
