Circe's Instructions to the Underworld

Odysseus asks Circe if she will keep her promise, that she months ago, to send him home when he pleases. She agrees to do so, since she will not keep him here against his will, but tells him that there is still one more part of the journey to undergo; a trip to the Underworld. Odysseus' heart sinks, and he is confused as to get there and how he will be guided as no ship has ever sailed into the world of Hades before. Circe tells him :

- He should set up his sail and mast, and the North Wind will direct him
- The wind will blow the boats across the River of Ocean and then they will come to a wild grove + Persephone's grove
- The men
