Conclusion for UNIT 4

In conclusion it is the physical factors that make a tectonic event occur; however it is the human factors that determine why there are a range of impacts from contrasting locations.

For example, both the Japanese and Asian events were of high magnitude of 9 on the Richter Scale, however the lack of development and preparation and awareness led to a significantly higher social impact within Asia.
