COORDINATION!

The Human Nervous System:

(CNS) - Central Nervous System = Brain and Spinal Cord. It gives rapid responses to stimuli. It uses the information from sense organs to coordinate reflexes and other actions.

(PNS) - Peripheral Nervous System = made up of spinal nerves + go to the skin, organs, muscles. Carry information from sensory organs to CNS, and also carry information from the CNS to the effector organs.

Stimulus --> Receptor --> Coordination --> Effector --> Response

An individual nerve cell is a neurone. A neurone responds to stimuli. It carries information as electrical
