Unity of Place - All action should take place in one setting
Unity of Time - Should span a day maximum
Unity of Action - Main action with no subplots
Hubris - Excessive pride
Hamartia - Fatal Flaw
Protagonist - main character, often tragic hero, one we root for
Antagonist - embodies bad qualities, main obstacle to protag, meant to dislike
Dramatic Irony - Audience knows what characters onstage do not
Modern domestic tragedy - tragedy dealing with the breakdown of relationships, set in a modern environment, usually showing aftereffects of society after war or the great depression
