Populations show spatial structure
Either ‘natural’ Or ‘man-made’
Spatial structure can have profound consequences for population dynamics and population genetics
Also important for conservation/ management
Interactions between organisms
Intraspecific- Between members of the same species.
Interspecific- Between members of different species.
So a population can be affected by number of predators (top down) or by amount of resources (bottom up).
