11 syllables to every first and second line of each stanza and every stanze has 3 lines. This creates a regular pattern which reflects the name of the poem. The constant use of enjambement also adds to this.

'The moon' Personification making it represent himself and his writers block.

Enjambement reflects 'falls behind' 

'The moon does neither of these things' This is contradicting itself.

'I am talking about myself' Makes it personal using first person.

'The subject or the planet, nor to think thoughts.' He can't get out fo this trance like state because of his writers block. 

'Sleep or' the whole tone is very sleepy and dreamy like an out of body experience.

'Front / door and lean' Enjambement is
