What are the values of care in health and social care services?
- promoting equality and diversity - challenge discrimination and meet individuals needs
- promoting individuals rights and beliefs - the right of choice and providing options
- maintaining confidentiality - information shared on a need-to-know basis only
Care value - MAKING THE WELFARE OF THE CHILD PARAMOUNT

- a child must never be humiliated or verbally abused or smacked
Care value - KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE AND MAINTAINING A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT
