The European Court Of Human Rights
- Shireby vs UK, appeal allowed, means men get "widows benefit"
- Mcdonnel vs UK, Mcdonells mother was given 18 grand, no inquisition into his death
- NJDB vs UK appeal against decision not to grant him legal aid for a child custody case, appeal was refused
- Voting rights for UK prisoners 2015, prisoners appealed to get the vote, UK just refused
- Uk still sovereign so can technically refuse the courts decision if parliament agrees
- However all 17 countries in the eu have to comply
- Dosent matter anyway as we will be leaving in 2019 after the result of the 2016 election
- However we are still technically under their jurisdiction for now
