The main features of the UK democracy:
1) Electoral System - First Past the Post
- 650 Constituencies - 3 Main Parties - Representatives (MP's)
Example: Sheffield Hallam - Constituency with Nick Clegg MP
2) Executive and Legislature are fused
- House of Commons and Lords have the power to both make law (acts of parliament) and undertake executive roles
