• End of Woeld War 1 - Germany is defeated

1919:

• The Treaty Of Versailles is Signed
• Beginning of the Weimar Republic

1923:

• French Invade the Ruhr in response to Germany stopping reperation payments.
• Hyperinflation leads to an economic collapse

• Summer- Gustav Stresemann becomes chancellor of Germany, bringing economical, political and international stability

• November-  Hitler and the SA take over a meeting in Munich- THE MUNICH PUTSCH

1925:

1929:

• October: Wall Street Crash in the USA leads to The Great Depression in Germany
• Stresemann dies

1930:

• The Nazi Party becomes the 2nd largest party in the Reichstag after the elections.
