Power culture
These are found in organisations in which there is one or a small group of power holders. In effect the power holder is a spider in the middle of a web. Everything goes through him or her. There are likely to be few rules and procedures, all communication is through personal contact. This encourages flexability among employees. Decision making is not limmited by any code of practice. this can result in unethical decisions being made in order to impress the boss. It is autocratic. In a power culture, a web of power grows from the centre of the organisation.
Role cultures
