History Notes- World War 2

Treaty Of Versailles:

• an agreement that ended WW1 and forced Germany to accept responsibility for starting the war and also made Germany pay reparations.
•  June 28 1919

Conditions of TOV were:

• Pay for 'loss and damages' this was called Reparations
• Army limited to 100,000 men
• Conscription forbidden along with Air Force and production of weapons
• Germany territory given to neighbouring countries
• Colonies divided between allies
• Leage of Nations was established
