The rules: 

a) when in english you would also use 'myself', I hurt myself = me lastime

b) Where in english you'd use the word 'get': to get dressed - to dress yourslef - vestirse

c) wher is english you'd say each other - they hate eachother - se odian

d) where you'd use the passive in english, it is recognised that - se reconoce que

e) where 'self' is implied but not used: to shut 'oneself up' - callarse

f) One you just have to remember - quedarse
