What is malaria?

It is a mosquito-borne disease which kills over 2.7 million people per year. It is a potentially fatal disease and it happens when the mosquito which already is carrying malaria bites a human and it transfers the disease into the human body. There are currently 300 people currently affected by the disease.

What symptoms does it cause?

*Headaches

*Nausea

* Fever

*Vomiting

*Flu-like symptoms.

How is malaria spread?

Malaria is spread by a mosquito carrying the disease. (Female mosquitos are the only ones that carry the disease) It sucks the blood from the human which it feeds its larvae with. Then in time these mosquitoes will grow up and infect more and moore people with it. The countries in Africa which have the highest percentage of people with malaria are Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho
