Electronegativity- Ability to attract bonding electrons
Dipole- Caused by a shift in electron density and difference in electronegativity
Permanant permanent dipole- Caused by a difference in electronegativity between atoms, means a weak electrostatic attraction forms
Instantaneous induced dipole- A temporary dipole is caused by a constant movement of elctrons, this can then induce a dipole in a neighbouring atom causing weak attraction
