DNA Structure:
Nucleic acids are macromolecules required to replicate and propagate life.
DNA: Deoxyribonucleic acid.
RNA: Ribonucleic acid.
Nucleotide has (a nitrogenous base + a pentose sugar + a phosphate group)
Purines are adenine(A) and guanine(G).The pyrimidines are cytosine (C), uracil (U) and thymine (T).
Nucleotides are linked by phosophodiester bonds
Gene DNA sequence runs in the 5' to 3' direction. Antisense strand runs in 3' to 5'.
