The Origin of the Universe
When we look at light from distant galaxies, the frequencies are lower than they should be, they're shifted towards the red end of the spectrum
This is called red shift
It's the same effect as the vroom from a car; the engine sounds lower pitched when the car's gone past you and is moving away, this is called the Doppler effect.
