Part of the ICT strategy for a company states that the company will ensure that all its ICT operations comply with relevant legislation

Discuss the policies the company should have in place to ensure compliance with all relevant legislations applicable to ICT. (10 marks)

Examiners answer: 

One mark for the name of each relevant policy such as;

- training policy

- security policy

- Internet acceptable use policy

- Privacy policy

One mark for each point about the policy relevant to compliance with legislation. One mark for further explanation of the point or a mention of the specific legislation to which it applies.
