-They can include religious groups, professional bodies, thinl-tanks and professional lobbyists.

There are four types of pressure groups: sectional, causal, insider & outsider

Examples: Gurkha Justice Campaign(outsider), Stonewall(losing its status as an insider), Big Brother Watch
