indiviudal needs- make sure your PEP takes into account your own indivdual needs and fitness level i.e. a unfit runner should not follow the same programme as a mathron runner
Specificity- matching your training to the requirements of an activity. every sport has it owns specialist needs i.e. a horse rider and a mathron runner will obviously train differently and used diffrent method of training
Progressive overload- means gradually incraseing the amount of overload so to gain fitness with out risk of injury (reversiabilty). it means working at a higher…
