Turning to Crime; Upbringing
Poverty and Disadvantaged Neighbourhoods
Family Social Position and Social Situation
Families class, ethnicity and place in society influence a childs upbringing, and could result in the child tuning to crime. The child could believe that criminal behaviour is acceptable/ expected of them due too them feeling a lower class citizen in society.
Family bonds may explain criminal bahaviour. Having a distant relationship with parents, siblings can result in the child having an oppotunity to commit crime, or believe that no one cares enough to do anything. Also, if the bond between the child and school are weak, could give child the opportunity to commit crime.
