Quality assurance

Quality assurance is all about making sure that care organisations are: 

1) Following and maintaining policies and procedures E.g. health and safety , legislations 

2) Delivering a good quality service to service users 

3) Listening and acting on peoples views/needs 

4) Monituring services 

Overall organsiations put measures in place to make sure they are meeting all of these demands for instance: 

- Protecting vunerable groups: e.g. making sure they are not victamised or discriminated against (protecting their human rights)
