Fascist government wanted to secure support for Fascist rule.
Education:
The regimes control over schools and education was an important aspect in instilling Fascist values.
December 1925:
Ø schools instructed to educate youth in the values of the Fascist revolution
Ø Purge of ‘politically incompatible’ teachers
1929- Primary and Secondary school teachers had to take an oath of loyalty to the regime
1933- Membership to the PNF was compulsory for employment.
1934- Primary School teachers ordered to wear Black shirt Uniforms in the classroom.
School Curriculum:
1926- Almost 1/3 of history books banned in schools
1928- Government introduce a single Primary text book for all…
