(1) Endocrine: -Hormones produced by endocrine glands
-Send through blood stream to target cells
-E.g. Progesterone and Testosterone
-Generally regulate transcription or water soluble molcules that bind to receptors on the plasma membrane e.g. Insulin/Glucagon
(2) Paracrine: -Signalling molecule affects only target cells in the proximity of the signalling cell
