- Biological Interventions
- Heroin Addiction and Methadone
- methadone is synthetic used to treat heroin addiction.
- mimics the effects but is less addictive produces euphoria but to a lesser degree slowly increasing amounts of methadone to produce a tolerance which is then decreased
