• Core loyal voters have clearly declined, only 66% in 2015
• However recentely it coukd be argued that we have seen a return to core voters, wiht 82% voting for labour or conservative in 2017 
• Valence issues can be clear factor on voting, Liberal democrats getting voted out in 2015 due to clear valence issues 
• However, valence can be done away with, Labour managed to perform well in 2017 despite issue with leadership 
• Rational Choice voting has a definite impact on who voted for what, 31% voted on state of economy in 2015 
• However in more emotional debates such as Brexit, issues can be pushed down for more patriotic/ national issues
